My Great grandfather, Calvin L. PELL married Sarah WILLIAMS in 1881 in Shelby County. This was his second wife. I believe that his first wife was Martha SAYERS, married in 1868 in Shelby county. I am looking for Land records for Calvin L. or Calvin Pell in this period to help me locate more information on earlier generations. Any help will be appreciated. Landon JACOBS b. VA 31 Dec 1778 was living in Shelby Co. Salem Twp. in 1850 next to his son Jacob Jacobs. Landon 1st marriage was to Mary ?. 2nd to Christine HOLTON 24 Dec 1842. Known children of Landon and Mary are: Jacob, Elizabeth, Isaac, Margot/Margaret & John.

LYONS, RYAN
Researching family of Thomas John LYONS, b. Limerick, Ire. 1834, d. Shelby Co., OH 1933; came to U.S. during famine years; Married Hanora RYAN in Miami Co. in 1865. Children Daniel b. 1866, John b.? , Thomas b. 1879, Joseph b. 1879, Mary b. 1872, and Edward b. 1881. The family appears in the 1880 Shelby Co. census in Loramie Township. All children went to school at Beech Grove No. 6. Would appreciate any information or possible links.

BUBP, HEISER, HOPPLER, OBRIEN, PATTON, SCHERER
I am looking for the descendants of Jacob HOPPLER (1832-1881) and Elizabeth BUBP (1840-1928). The family was living in Shelby County by 1880 (probably before then too). Their children are Anna (1862-1906), George (1865-1901), Mary H.(1867-1929), Louisa K. (1870-1953), Sophia Julia (1872-1899), and 4 unknown children. Anna Hoppler married Michael J. OBRIEN, Mary Hoppler married August SCHERER, Louisa Hoppler married Omar G. PATTON, and Sophia Julia Hoppler married Mr. HEISER. Any help on this family would be greatly appreciated.

My Greatgrandfather's Death certificate indicates he was born in Sidney, Oh in 1852, his name was Franklin Judkin EDWARDS. His father's name was Judkin EDWARDS, his mothers was an unknown VEILES. Looking for connections for Judkin and wife, siblings for Frank, and maybe something on Judkin.

BOLBY, PERRINE
I am researching David BOLBY (b. 1833) married to Nancy PERRINE. Children of this marriage are Willis Marion Bolby and Cora Bolby (Zinser). David was killed in the Civil War, January 19, 1864 at Jacksboro, TN. Any information would be helpful. Thanks!

ROGERS
My great-great grandfather, Charles Franklin Rogers, was born in Shelby County, Ohio on November 18, 1867. His parents were George and Nelip (?) Rogers. Family stories say that he was orphaned early in life and that his Aunt Martin raised him. (He was married in Jasper County, MO in 1895). I am looking for any documentaion of his birth date and his parents. Would also like to learn more about his parents and if he had any siblings. Thanks for your help.

DANIELS, GROSS, ROWE
I am researching Nicholas GROSS, all family related to him and the name of the ship he and his brother John Wesley GROSS came to America on. Also place of naturalization or oath taken and dates. Also Alma F DANIELS who married Louis Herman ROWE. They lived in Sidney and have to young sons buried at Graceland in the early 1900's. These were my great grandparents. Trying to locate info on Peter R. LEHMAN. He was born Sept. 9, 1861 in Ohio, possibly Shelby Co. He worked as a brakeman for the railroad. He has 16 or 17 siblings. He ran away from his family when he was a teenager. Any info would be appreciated.

Hi! I am looking for any information of the David Van Blaricom Family. David was the son of David Van Blaricom and Mary Ann Reed. David was born in 1833 and was the oldest of 5 sons and 3 or four daugters. The family ended up moving out of the area in the 1870's.
