CARTER, DOTY, TAYLOR
William TAYLOR was born on Dec. 25, 1803. He married Ann Maria DOTY Nov. 9, 1826. They farmed in Shelby Co. and raised a large family of Taylors. I would like to know when William died. If you have access to Cemetery inscriptions for that area, or are related, let me know. I also am interested in a little background of Maria. She shows up on the census as having been born in N.Y. but I think her parents probably came to Montgomery Co. sometime before she married in 1826. Their daughter, Sarah married Abbott CARTER. I know nothing about him. They did live in Shelby Co. together tho. Thank you!

MILLER, WINAFELDT
I'm looking for information about the family of Valentine and Mary E. (MILLER) WINAFELDT, who lived in Sidney, Shelby Co., Ohio about 1842. Valentine was born 1809 in Bavaria and died 16 January 1890 in Canton, Stark Co., Ohio. Valentine was a stonemason by trade. Mary E. MILLER was born 17 February 1817 in Baden and died 27 November 1896 in Canton, Stark Co., Ohio. Valentine and Mary had four known children: Henry (1840-1924), Matilda (1841-1907), Mary A. (1842-1927), and Frank (1857-1881). Mary A. was born in Sidney, which suggests to me that the family moved to Stark County some time after 1842.
