Piqua Daily Call, Feb. 10, 1936

George Shie, single, died Sunday morning at two o'clock at the home of his
sister, Sophia Shimmell, 127 Morrow Street, with whom he had made his home
for a number of years.  Although he had been in poor health for some time,
his death was unexpected, since he had worked up until Friday at the Orr
Felt and Blanket company, where he had been employed for the past eighteen
years.

The deceased was born in Sidney, May 30, 1872, the son of John and Catherine
Shie.

Surviving, besides the sister, Mrs. Shimmell, are two other sisters, Mrs.
Tom Ragon and Mrs. Perry Lippincott, both of this city , and a brother Louis
Shie, also of here.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the
Wagner Funeral Home with Rev. Simon Long, officiating.  Interment will be in
Forest Hill Cemetery.
