Springfield, OH Daily News, Oct. 3, 1938

George O. Shellenbarger, 67, retired farmer of Medway, died in the Miami
Valley Hospital at Dayton at 4 p.m. Sunday after a long illness.

Mr. Shellenbarger had resided in the vicinity of Medway most of his life.
He was born in Jackson Center, Ohio and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of
New Carlisle.

Survivors include his widow, Catherine, a son, George Ellsworth
Shellenbarger of Medway, a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence E. Bird of Dayton; two
sisters, Mrs. O.W. Cox, Springfield and Mrs. Emma Kirtley of Jackson Center
and a brother, Edward, of Smithboro, NY.

Funeral services will be held in the residence at Medway at 2 p.m. with
burial in the Mennonite Cemetery.
