OBITUARY FOR ELLA SHATTO RICH

The Sidney Dailey News
Monday, March 29, 1926

Mrs. Ella Shatto Rich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Shatto was born at
Celina, O. March 25, 1888, and departed this life at her home in Sidney,
March 15, 1926, at the age of 37 years, 11 months and 18 days.
On October 23, 1909, she was united in marriage to Grover C. Rich who
survives her. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her departure, three
sisters, two brothers, two half brothers and one half sister namely Mrs.
Tilla Mason of Findlay, Mrs. Jess Packman and Mrs. Ed Anderson of Piqua,
William and Ralph Shatto, of Sidney, Mrs. Eva Gahm and Mr. Steve Shatto of
Sidney and John Shatto of Detroit, Michigan and a host of relatives and
friends. Her Father and Mother, one sister Mrs. Thomas Shipman, a son and a
daughter preceded her in death. When a small girl she united with the Church
of the Brethren and remained a member until death. She was a sufferer for
many years but always bore it with patience. She was a kind and loving wife,
daughter and sister, a loving neighbor and a friend to all who knew her.
A precious one from us is gone, a voice we love is still. A place is vacant
in our home, which never can be filled.
