Bud Rich, 88, Piquad's Father

Bud Rich, 88, died at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Miami County Home where he had been a resident for six years.

Born in Shelby County May 8, 1871, he was the son of James and Justina Blue Rich.

Surviving are a son, Fred Rich, also of the Miami County Home; three daughters, Mrs. George Burch (Helen) of Bradford, Mrs. Clyde Shroyer (Elsie) and Mrs. Charles Black (Vera), both of Piqua; a brother, Grover Rich of Sidney, 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  His wife the former Roberta Glick, is deceased.

The Rev. Roger Kincaid will conduct servies at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Jamieson Funeral Home with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. 

Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday after 3 p.m. and until the time of the services Wednesday.
