Mrs. William McCorkle

	Mrs. Emma Heisey McCorkle, wife of William McCorkle, died at her home in
Hardin, Ohio, Wednesday, June 5, 1912, aged 57 years, 1 month and 28 days.  She
was born April 7, 1855 near Mount Joy, Pa.  After her marriage to Mr. McCorkle,
they lived three years on  David Kreider's farm, after which they had public 
sale and moved to Ohio.  They have lived there since 1880 on the same farm 
purchased in the fall of that year; but seven years ago they moved to the small
village of Hardin.  Deceased suffered intensely during the past two and a-half
years with cnacer.  She was operated upon; but that only made her suffering
more intense and during the last stage of her life, she lived eighteen days
without a bit of food.  All she could take was water.  She leaves to mourn her
departure a bereaved husband, son, Uriah and two daughters, Mary and Alice, to
whom the hand of sympathy is exteded by their Pennsylvania friends and 
relatives.
