Death followed a long period of ill health and since Thursday he had been a patient in the hospital. His ill health began three years ago. The deaceased was a native of Quincy, born there on September 19, 1891, a son of James and Victoria Mawhorr. He is mourned by his wife, Mrs. Sophia Mawhorr, one son, James Mawhorr, Franklin Avenue, and one granddaughter, with a brother and sister, William Mawhorr, rural route, Lewistown; Mrs. Bessie Snapp, Covington. During his earlier years the late Joseph Warren Mawhorr followed the vocation of farming and in more recent years was employed in various capacities in Sidney. His last asociation was last fall when he served as a filling station attendant. The funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o;'clock from the Cromes funeral home in charge of the Rev. R. Wobus, of St. Paul's Evangelical Church. Interment will be made in Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco. Friends may call at the family home on Linden Avenue any time after noon on Tuesday until Wednesday morning when the body will be removed to the Cromes funeral home for services.
