Sidney Daily News, April 25, 1968

Services will be held Friday afternoon in Lansing, Michigan for John
Kirtley, 70, of Okemos, Michigan a native of Shelby County.

Mr. Kirtley died Tuesday at Okemos.  He formerly lived in Jackson Center and
was a son of the late Edward and Emma Shellenbarger Kirtley.

His wife, Frances, preceded him in death.  The only survivor is a sister,
Anna Parks, of Fairfield, California, formerly of Sidney.  Burial will be in
a cemetery in Lansing.
