Milton HEMLINGER was born in Shelby County, OH June 8, 1848, was united in 
marriage to Lucy A.(FOUST) KNESTRICK in 1883 in Van Wert County, OH, moved to 
Mark Twp., Defiance County, OH. in 1899, and departed this life Oct. 18, 1914, 
Defiance County, OH. To this union was born two sons, &  two daughters with one 
son preceding him in death. He leaves his wife Lucy,  one son Albert Louis 
HELMLINGER,  two daughters Mrs. Elmer (Daisy) WHEATON, & Mrs. Lee E.(Margaret) 
EITNIEAR, two grandchildren Erma & Thelma WHEATON; five step-children, one 
brother and one sister.(note: He was baptized as Michael HELMLINGER in St. 
Mark's Lutheran Church, Clay Twp., Auglaize Co., OH. & was the son of Jacob  
& Elizabeth(LEWIS) HELMLINGER.
