Here is another obituary from the February 16, 1924 Sidney Daily News.
Again, this person is not related to my research:

Former Sidney Pastor is Dead
    George Hathcock received a telegram from Battle Creek Mich., Friday evening announcing the death of Rev. R.E. Holmes former pastor of the Mt. Vernon Baptist church in this city. 
Rev. Holmes was pastor of the church here for about a year and a half.
    The remains were taken to Venia, his former home for interment.
