She united with the M.E. church at Carson schoolhouse, Champaign County in 1845. She was united in marriage with W.S. Foster in 1847. To this union were born six daughters and three sons. She moved to Montra, Shelby County , in 1864. She was left a widow in 1873. Those left to mourn her loss are three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Markwell and Mrs. Nichols, of Indiana, Mrs. Arnett and John R. Foster, of Montra, Wm. S. Foster, of Botkins, twenty-seven grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren, three sisters and one brother. She was confined to her bed for a little over six weeks. Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church at Montra Thursday, conducted by Rev. Burger, of Port Jefferson. Interment at Port Jefferson.
