Born Jan. 6, 1923, in Sidney, he was the son of the late Clem and Sophia Winegartner Crusey. He was married to Catherine L. Crusey. She died on June 9, 1989. Survivors include four children, Ellen Webb, Nanette Crusey and Suzanne Crusey Kjelstad, all of Anchorage, Alaska, and Tom Crusey of Tallahassee, Fla., two brothers Dave Crusey of Wasilla, Alaska, and Joe Crusey of Anchorage, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One brother and one sister preceded him in death. Mr. Crusey was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, serving during World War II. He was a member Holy Angels Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Rotary Club. He was a stockbroker. Private graveside services will be held. There are no calling hours. The Adams funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (I do have a connection to the surname of Crusey through my Daniel line but I do not know if this gentleman is connected to the same Crusey's I descend from. However, after reading about his life, I wanted to make sure his information got online out of respect for what appears to have been a life well-lived. Thank you.)
