Bell, 72, 15407 Lochard Road, died Wednesday about 12:20 p.m. at a son's home in Anna. She had been ill about 20 months. A native of Shelby County, she was born June 11, 1905, daughter of Harry and Emma (Leiss) Shellenberger. On Jan. 31, 1929, she was married to W.O. Bell who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Robert E. of Anna, and Larry G. R.R. 1, Anna; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Bell was a member of the St. Jacobs Lutheran Church in Anna, and Stokes Chapter No. 543, Order of the Eastern Star. Services will be held Saturday at l:30 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Paul Koehler officiating. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson. Friends may call at the Cromes Funeral Home Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until noon when the body will be moved to the church. The Eastern Star will have memorial services Friday at 6:45 p.m. at the funeral home. The family has requested memorials be given to the Rebecca Circle of the St. Jacobs Lutheran Church.
