GOODE, Jackson ville, Florida, brother of Patrick GOODE, deceased, visited Sidney last week. The Council did a wise thing in ordering the shade trees trimmed. It has improved the appearance of the town and allows the gas lights to shne without obstruction. The team of Samuel McKNIGHT, Orange Twp, ran away one day last week. The team was injured, the wagon damaged, and a fine cow belonging to Geo. ELDREDGE killed. David ROBBINS, Van Buren twp., will sortly move to Sidney. He has brought four acres of ground off the north end of Wm. DOREN's farm and will soon commence the erection of a house. Married at the house of the officiating minister, the Rev. W.H. MOORE, at Covington Ohio, on the 8th instant, James M. GARRETT and Miss Sarah A. BOWERS, both of Shelby Co. Died in Turtle Creek Tp. 17 July 1880, Mrs. Sarah VARNER, aged 67y, 3m, 4s.
