Paid Dearly for Assault on His Wife
Probate Judge MILLER Takes Good Care of Thomas SEYMOUR

Thomas SEYMOUR, who assaulted his wife and daughter at their home on east 
North street, several evenings ago, and who was bound over to the Probate 
court by Mayor ROBB,
had a hearing this afternoon before the latter and was sentenced to thirty 
days hard labor at the Toledo work house, to remain committed until the 
costs in the case are paid. He admitted striking his wife and daughter, the 
evidence showing that he had knocked three of her teeth out.
